Re: 2019/2020 Ram Diesel
Kyle hit the nail right on the head. A few years ago my brother inlaw had the same issue with his Power Stroke and claimed it on his insurance. They were on vacation and they paid for his repairs and RV storage.
A good friend on my is going thru the same thing with his Eco-Boost Ram 1500 pickup. |

Leave your truck & take one off the lot. That's what they should've done.

Re: 2019/2020 Ram Diesel
[QUOTE=KRatcliff;625383]Have you filed a claim with your insurance company? I had bad diesel in my Ram and State Farm covered it minus my deductible.[/QUOTE
No contamination of any sort found in Diesel in the fuel tank. The pump broke due to very bad Engineering Design = IMO I have been with State Farm since the 70's and I am not going to lie to them or cheat them. My attorney will hopefully help me get this handled.

Re: 2019/2020 Ram Diesel
I am not suggesting that you lie to them. It is FCA that made this a binary choice independent of your testing analysis. They did so in their report when they said it was a fuel issue rather than a component failure.
Either it is a component failure that would fall under a warranty claim or a fuel issue that may be covered under your comprehensive coverage with your insurance company. You did not write the report on your vehicle. Only trying to help you out. Take it for what it is worth. |

Re: 2019/2020 Ram Diesel
Thanks!
They stated it had to be a fuel problem I have the work order and inquired of them..... They said no reason to test = I had to be a fuel problem that makes pumps go out. After going on all the Forum- The CP4 pump is a very common disaster on 2020. I have an attorney who is expert in these cases = But I still have a tough time making a living in the Trailer Business without it! Truck was new in June

Re: 2019/2020 Ram Diesel
Aisin is a Japanese Company very big Company one of their biggest product line is Toliet Seats, another of their product lines is automotive brake systems and of course Transmissions. Ram uses Aisin trans in the 2500 and 3500 HD trucks. Aisin also make front wheel drive automatic transmissions. If I remember Toyota uses a lot of their trans.
