I reached out to NHRA and got this response??? Definitely more confused than ever.





" Are you asking if the strut rod can have spherical rod ends; if so the answer is no for Stock Eliminator, They are permitted in Super Stock."

Sorry SSDiv 6 and beware, this portion of the rulebook come front the Super Stock section.

This is a safety issue and it does not apply to Stock Eliminator?

I wouldn't worry too much, just yet. NHRA might change the rule by the time you get your car done.

I thought the string here was about stock. I went back to the NHRA site and found this note in Superstock. In the stock category, there is no allowance for the strut rods with heim joints.
Maybe I missed it ?
