Default Re: Oil Accumulator

I used a 3 qt. Moroso on mine and liked it. I had a flat bottom pan on my engine when we first built the car and hurt the crank in just a few runs. Put the accumulator on it and never took it off.

I had everything in the car come on with the ignition but the accumulator. I had it on a separate switch. I would turn the switch on when I came out of the lanes and turn it back off after making the turn at the end of the track. Also used it to pre-oil the engine first thing in the morning.

Ron,
I have not had any problems using the sandwich adapter. I also added a toggle switch with a red cover (SUM-G3902) so that I can bypass the system seeing that it activates when the ignition switch is turned on. That way if I want to take a fuel sample or time the engine without the accumulator activating I can turn the system off.
