As it stands now he is .709 under the A/S index, definitely needs a hit. There are, as of now, 11 cars that are 1.2 or more under their indexes and only 2 will get horsepower on Tuesday. I know this topic has been beat to death, but where is the justice in this NHRA system.

Forgot to add Congrats to Larry Hill for putting the truck in the number 1 spot. I hope it holds, you guys deserve it. Keep up the good work reporting and the pictures Patsy. I am sure you guys are busy trying to keep the truck #1.

I will have pics of the Cowboy Cadillac tomorrow. Sorry I have fallen down in my duties, but it was pretty stressful knowing we were going for #1!

A few notes: Bill Skillman blew up his stocker on the first pass on a new engine.
Dean Cook has not made a good pass yet.
Most of the new cars at the bottom looked like they blew the tires off.

I imagine there will be lots of chillers just outside the lanes tomorrow to try and qualify!
