Re: Sliding through the lights trying to stage
Don't mix the whiners with the scandlemongers. The whiners belong to the new car/old car conversation. Just trying to inject a little humor in this thread.

Re: Sliding through the lights trying to stage
I did not stage in the semi's. Broke the output shaft in my trans. They wouldnt let me push it in. Has to be forward motion under power. Nobody gets the RU money, points or contingencies.

That is a dumb rule -- you were the runner-up - it would have made no difference to any one - wait that might not be true on here... LMAO again

That puts the heat right back on Charlie. He tried to get away from it but the truth came out.

Re: Sliding through the lights trying to stage
That explanation of no burnout deal makes sense,I believe if I had been in that situation of championship contender, would have informed officials so reason for odd race would have been known, but could be hindsight is 20/20 deal.
From what I have always understood running off ladder,Ken having bye would have to stage and break beams under his cars power as he said, for him to advance to finals, then the other pair of cars would race and winner of that round would advance to final and they would have to stage and break beams under there own power for the win,if they could'nt there would not be a winner or runner up,just semifinalist. Ken I'm guessing you got quarter final money? I saw Scott Stillings go out @ Mt. Park pro am years ago when his car would'nt start for bye run,so he could'nt acvance to next round. Mike Taylor 3601 |
