Re: 79 Mustang project U/SA
Right now she is way UGLY. I am sanding off all the cheap Macco paint so I can get a good base to start with. The car will be painted like a 79 Cobra without the hood scoop and stickers.

Re: 79 Mustang project U/SA
It's been a long hot summer...LOL
I have all the bad paint sanded off the car and the body work is done. I should be shooting some color in the next few weeks. I'll post pic's as I get stuff done. I'm working lots of hours at work so I don't have much free time. (family stuff comes first). I have 90% of the parts I need so that is looking good. And I want to say Thanks to Mike Graham. He has been a HUGE help to me on this project.

Re: 79 Mustang project U/SA
Well I finally got started on the paint work. Life and cold weather has been getting in the way. The color in the pic's looks a little orange but it's eastwood Electric Yellow. Nice and bright.

Re: 79 Mustang project U/SA
Looks good, Robbie. I painted my Mustang with zero experience and can appreciate the effort involved.
One of the baddest cars around here in Washington is a U/Stocker painted in a driveway in cold weather. Yours is prettier.
