Default 396/350HP Stocker

Who are the best folks to talk to about this engine for Stock Eliminator.Considering a 69 Nova w/this combo for E/SA. Pros/cons of this engine for this class? I am considering Stock after 35 years of bracket racing...most recently in Top Sportsman....and am looking for some thoughts on this combo.
Thanks,
John

Mr. John Armstrong in Kingston, Nova Scotia, CANADA. Just call A&J Automotive @ 902-765-4878. He has a fair amount of knowledge about BBC class engines. --

I'll second that. Your 396/350 should be identical to our 427/385/371 other than bore size. They've got lot's of experiance with these oval port motors as well as square port, quite a few records held by the barn in the melvern square!
