Re: Rockett brand fuels-
Rockett brand is quicker and less expensive. Great fuel and always passes fuel check!

Re: Rockett brand fuels-
Tracy, I need some imput on what which one to use? It is a bbc that is 9.5 to 1 and has about 170 psi cold cranking comp. It is a old Topstock 502 crate engine. The only change is that it has a dualplane intake and a q-jet carb. Also do they sell 55 gal. drums? It is a bracket car so it does"nt need to pass a fuel test. Thank you for the help.

Re: Rockett brand fuels-
Hey J,
I also work with Rockett and we do sell 55 gal. drums. We had a 502 on the dyno in October and tested it with our 111 and 114. I believe it was a 10 to 1 motor and there wasn't alot of difference between the two. For the price I would rec the 111. You can cal me @ 443-207-2961 or Tracy if you have any questions |

Re: Rockett brand fuels-
Tracy quoted me some good prices. I am trying to put together something , right away.
What troubles have some of you had with VP, other than prices ? I have never had any trouble with C-11 at the table for the past 3 yrs. They always tell me, "you're good !" I keep mine in dark colored jugs and replace the o ring in the cap every year so far. I never leave it out in the sunlight either. But , then again, I havent bought any by the barrel( C-11) yet either, so that may make some difference.

Re: Rockett brand fuels-
Shawn, where do you get Rockett up here in the Northwest? I`ve been buying VP C12 by the drum for several years now, and it`s always passed fuel check, even after some sat in the cars stock gas tank over the winter. The only time I ever had any trouble with VP was when I first started running the car, and was using their red "budget" fuel, Motorsport 110 .

Re: Rockett brand fuels-
Hey Rory, a friend of mine ordered three barrels at the beginning of last year from a dealer in Oregon. I will be ordering some more for this year. I could get you a barrel when I order or at least let you try some to see if you like it! If I recall it was around 450.00 a drum for the 111 Rockett last year.
