That was neat Mike.....the reason its tight on the right side is ...we were running on the left side track and the center wall sticks out a little too far.....

the really cool part was that I was home by 3 pm....after Ray Connelly kicked my butt 2nd round.....the flight is really short....

What a nice place though......easily the finest.........

Did you all notice how the camera wasn't bouncing around!? Smoothest track we have ever been on!!!
All they need to do at zMax now is: 1) cut back the barriers at end of track - all of them; 2) get speakers in the pits - both pro and sportsman sides; 3) get some water and air in the sportsman pits; 4) make both sides accessible by golf cart/scooter. Even the pros were made to go out the gates and then back in!!!
Other than those "little" things - the place was the best!!!

Hi Joe! Even that side was tight - not as bad as our side, no zig zag - but only 1 could go around at a time.

Yo DW...

I know. I wanted a cam facing the other way to see the reaction to the zig-zagging route we were taking. Brian and I were having too much fun with that.. haha.

Nice to meet you last weekend. Tough loss at three, but making it that far in a tight tree bloodbath is pretty sporty.

Interesting about the tree......I was probably 13-15 thou quicker than Indy......so I asked Jeff Foster (of Compulink) He was nice enough to explain that the track was so flat, that the beams could be lined up and spaced perfectly....in addition the timing equipment was all brand new....which makes for a really nice set of reaction times.....the track being flat and smooth did have some drawbacks......it felt like you were on ice when you did a burnout..and the car never shook or bounced....so it seemed like it was floating or spinning....but it wasn't......but other than that.....you could see by Mike's video that its not bumpy.....
