Re: Stock Rules - NHRA vs IHRA
I agree with what everyone else said. I don't believe the alum radiator and alum srive shaft are legal in NHRA and the roller rockers (unless factory) aren't either. There have been several arguments on this forum regarding that.
as far as pistons, I would figure most IHRA racers probably have what is in the NHRA guide. I would be suprised if that many don't. NHRA no longer separates fuel injected cars out either. They run with the original classes. What kind of car do you have?

Re: Stock Rules - NHRA vs IHRA
Don't forget you have to run the 9inch rear tire for NHRA, you can run the wider 10.5 I think for Ihra.
Check the HP rating on NHRA's website, IHRA doesn't follow their increases, but does follow the decreases. You will also get the blueprint specs casting #'s. Case in point, my 96 dakota is 276HP for NHRA, 260HP for IHRA. Eric

Re: Stock Rules - NHRA vs IHRA
Greg, I was talkin' about the towing fuel - almost $500 for the trip to Martin and back. You're right, the car loves Sunoco 94 outta the pump!! Hey,I'd expect 20's not 50's in the rarified air. I'd also need an NHRA membership.....not this year.
