Re: 08 Challenger Race
You gotta remember what classes they use to run and what their respective class track distances are starting with the Mile High Nationals! lol
Garlits ran Top Fuel and Judy Lily ran in the Sportsman classes. (Did she try Pro Stock one year?) Is that ALL you're going to tell us??? Any actual ET's or package car info?

Re: 08 Challenger Race
I think there will be more released this week on the new package. Should be fun. We opened in July 68, and the cars were already made. Looking forward to racing three or four of them.

Re: 08 Challenger Race
They ran low 11's. Don't know which motor was there. More than one available.

Re: 08 Challenger Race
Sorry but I was watching it live on the track's realtime web site and I guess the operator had the names crossed up. So Judy must have shut off at the 1000 as the car only ran about 106 while the other car ran 125 or so. Anyway the car that lost was .08 ahead at the 1000.
Jeff, did anybody order one from you yet? Greg |

Re: 08 Challenger Race
A video was posted on moparts.com. But I can't make out what the scoreboards show.

Re: 08 Challenger Race
Jeff-
It seems like there was a LOT of TV advertising for the "Drag Race Package" Challenger. I spotted at least 5 or 6 ads during the ESPN2 coverage and one more on another ESPN2 show. Way more than for selling only 100 or so cars. When you get more information on this I am sure a lot of us would like to know what they really have planned. Thanks! Bill Ringer SS/FA 5750 |

Re: 08 Challenger Race
That 11.24 is 10.57 corrected, not too bad
