Here's a slip during the bracket finals. It was a similar wheelie to the pic I posted from Tuscon. I looked for a photo or vid of the pass & couldn't find one.
Anyway, below is a time slip from a decent wheelie. We didn't plan for the wheelie & my pit neighbor asked what I did to the car. I hadn't done anything & it was probably because it was the best DA we had for the event. Plus, it was a fresh track in the morning with maybe 30 vehicles made passes before me. The 2nd round, our wheelies went back to where they have been set-up. Barely pulling the tires for 20'-30' The 60' improved to a 1.309 even though the DA went up 700' & I'm sure other factors played into it also. |
