Max Wedge Resurrection
Current project I'm working on for Alex Cortezzo's collection of Max Wedge cars.
This '63 Plymouth was Jerry Stein's first Teachers Pet ..Jerry bought it new ,High Compression 426 ,3 speed stick on the floor. Jerry put the aluminum nose on it.. Jerry sold it to Wes Coleman who was partnered with Bob Pagano. Car went thru several owners finally ending up only a few miles from my shop . I'm currently replacing the fire wall which was damaged by a trans explosion and replacing the front inner fenders ,which evidently saw more than a few deferent header configurations. Next will be removing the widened stock tube and narrowed frame rails and replacing them with OE parts. Paint is still original as is the interior and will stay that way. Also getting a stock 13 to 1 motor and a OE 3 speed stick More pictures as I have time to re size them

Cool build Tom with a lot of history! Ironically, I found this image on the H.A.M.B. a couple of days ago!

Re: Max Wedge Resurrection
here's a few pics of the front inners and firewall replacement .the OE radiator support with the vin was straightened out and kept in place.
The inner fenders and firewall came from a junk donor car Alex had . The firewall had been seriously "worked |" for clearance besides the damage fro a trans/converter explosion so it was seamed in at the fender wall attaching points.
