Default Ticket prices

Was looking at ticket prices online for Maple Grove this weekend. Why is saturday most expensive day? 65 bucks for Saturday seems just crazy, may have to skip it and just go to the Dutch.

FYI.

I paid $51 for general admission Sunday at Indy this year, it was the most expensive day.

Fans normally get to see more Pro runs on the last day of qualifying than the day of eliminations. I would rather see racing but it looks like many feel otherwise.

I have noticed that crowds sometimes seem to be larger on Saturdays (Sundays at Indy) than the day of Pro Eliminations.

Until today I did not know that admission was higher.

Although I am not downplaying the expense of going to see a NHRA National Event, compared to many "stick and ball" sports, or a popular musical group in concert, it is pretty reasonable. Considering most major league sports events, or rock concerts are usually only a couple of hours long, and MUCH more costly to attend, being at the dragstrip for the entire day is a decent value.Plus unlike a big sporting event, concert, or even most other types of Motorsports, you can walk right up to the cars pit areas, and talk to the racers. And being spread out over several days, you can decide what day(s) you want to go.
