Greg's Legacy Race Co-Sponsors: Strictly Hydraulics & Dairy Queen

The seventh race of the ACSSA 2024 season was supposed to be the first on June 15, but Mother Nature had other ideas on that date. This time the day was sunny and warm, and the race went off without a hitch. The Greg's Legacy Races are co-sponsored by Strictly Hydraulics and Dairy Queen, and in a welcome surprise move the Nickerson family offered up an extra $1000 to boost the purse! Many thanks to them! With the back-to-back Opens in Cayuga and Napierville only a few days away this race only had 16 entries roll into the track, and unfortunately two of them broke, but the racing was as good as ever, with some upsets and some new names at the top.
The day saw temperatures in the mid-80s, a DA around 2300', and Water Grains at about 65. Andrew Cameron grabbed the top spot in Qualifying with his 1989 Camaro Z28 at -1.149 under his Index, with the top four cars all qualifying better than 1 second under.
