Mid Atlantic Stock / SS Finale at Cecil County - Sept 7 & 8

The last one for the year before we start grinding to work on a 2025 schedule. Let?s pack the place and get some full fields, some of you have a full month off before the next race (if not going to Epping, Indy or running at MG since that is full).

2 races for 1 tow - Race Saturday & Sunday!

Gates will OPEN at 5pm Friday - if you arrive earlier then 5pm, please find the local Wal-Mart or Flying J to park till the gates open at 5, please don?t block the roadway as this causes a traffic issues. The size of these rigs Cecil can only hold a max of 2-3 rigs total in the holding lot for both gates, let?s all work together to make this smooth so we can host future events at the track!

If the gates open earlier, I will inform you!

Friday T&T (weather permitting) runs from 6-10 for $30, $15 crew / spectator fee - gates close at 10pm sharp.

Gates reopen at 7:30-8am (if there is a cone in front of the ticket booth, wait there till the gates open, don?t drive around and park) racing is to kick off with Juniors at 9am on both Saturday and Sunday! The Stock / SS series will pay $100 at the gate (that will change in 2025 with them migrating into our series).

If you can come drop off e-mail addresses to my trailer so we can work on creating a e-mail blast so the racers are informed of things leading up to the event.

Ya know, it's races like this that make it worth while to build a "Dime Rocket"! And I don't just mean this race. There are races like this being held all over the country. Just think, no expensive traveling, no 3-4-5 nights of motel bills (or motor coach payments) and very reasonable entry fees! Build a "Dime Rocket", enter a local S/SS race, go a few rounds and pay for the car and bracket race the wheels off it the rest of the time. Oh and you've got a car that you could do a little bit of local NHRA racing with if you feel the need to go after a Wally! Just sayin'.

Here is the rotation for the upcoming season finale at Cecil County on September 7th & 8th - Plan is to have Juniors going down at 9am followed by the .90 cars, do a little track Maintenace and then Stock / SS.

We have also included the season points standings following the 2 events a few weeks back thanks to Bobby for the update.

I believe Bobby Fazio will be there racing and have the live feed up and running and we will have Ray Thurston on the Mic for those who can't make it but for $100 entry and $2,500 to win why would you miss it plus you can race Bob Bender up the Highway to stack for Maple Grove.....lol.

FYI - GATES will Open at 5pm (No sooner) on Friday the 6th for Cecil's Friday Night T&T. Even if you are not testing that night there is a $15 spectator fee (Just like if you and some friends jumped in the car to come watch racing), If you arrive before 5pm you will be directed to the nearest area to wait till the gates open.

Unfortunately, because Cecil can only hold 2-3 rigs in that small driveway leading to the ticket booth, racers are lining up on the road waiting which in turn causes traffic issues and the neighbors calling the cops on the track. This is leading to fines from the township / county, I know we all want to get there early but if we can all work together to try to get to the track at 5pm and not noon or 1pm, I know it can be a pain but we all need to work together on this.
