I just wanted to take the time and thank all the racers who came out this weekend. Thank you to the Glenn Grow and the NHRA staff for their hard work and especially the Brunet family & Co. for what can only be described as one of the best National Opens ever. What an incredible event. 4 days of unbelievable weather, track surface was incredible, everyone was able to get the pit spots they desired and great racing was had by all. We did have 2 long stoppages today do to breakage, but still able to pull off the program. Congratulations to all the winners and runner ups.

Saturday's race was the biggest race ever for Napierville Dragway. With over 250 cars, 60 stk/ss competitors, Pro Mods, Dan Mercier's Top Fuel Dragster making two great passes and almost 5000 fans, the place was packed! I have never seen an Open or Division race with that many people. Our new DD was also in attendance and I know he was happy to see how strong and well supported our National Opens are North of the border! I hope everyone had a good time, made it home safe and if there is anything we can do to improve the race for next year, please feel free to reach out to Glenn Grow or myself. We want to keep growing this race. Tnx

I must salute the Brunet family and staff, Glen Grow, the NHRA staff and specially the Gaffney brothers for this "Historic event".
I'm followed the Division 1 events (Nationals, Divisionals and National Open Series) for more than 45 years and I'm calling this one "Fan-tastic".

Regarding some suggestions from the spectator view: (All of this is part of every growing event)
More cleaners restroom, more restaurant service stands and more parking area.
Also racer traffic must be corrected specially from the rear restaurant area.
Once again, thank you ALL for this "Super event". It will stay in memory forever.
Keep on everybody,

I had a great time and hopefully next year will be even bigger. Lots of spectators which I haven't seen in a while.
Another suggestion for the racers would be some win lights at the end of the track. It would remove some suspense between crossing the finish line and getting the time slip.

#1 glad that George Mirza won on saturday and that the track had a great event

#1a track is always well prepped for my cars and lets me put the dakota in fly and be free mode, this weekend was no exception.

#2 I second the win lights, and there needs to be a rollback on the track premises at all times to get cars off the track, maybe get some new wood for the bleachers, and a post big event special cleanup crew would be a good move.

#3 As of of the few racers parked in the drift track I can attest that the path to and from was really bad, and haven't had to dodge baby strollers before, but i did, prefer fans to be in the stands and not in my path to and from. Plus the spectator cars trying to park, would block the path as well.......

#4 Then came Sunday....and they started parking spectator cars on the drift track without guidance or control. Had to do a five point turn to get back to the trailer after each run with the truck, Gremlin could squeeze it. pot smoking and drinking going on before they meandered over to the track, fans will be fans....

#5 To put a giant turd on the weekend, some Quebec plated Mensa member since he was parked on the drift track decided to do some test drifts and came within 10-20 feet of where my wife and 17.7 year old Beagle were sitting under the canopy next to the motorhome. Such lack of respect, judgement and lawlessness speaks volumes. I learned of this as I returned from my final run. Mr drift douche and his assclown posse had drifted into the stands to enjoy the day. Packed up and went home. Been going there since 08 this sucked, and will not be forgotten. Wife is very unimpressed. Not sure she wants to go back, can't say I blame her.........
