Default Re: Brake Question

centering the pads in the caliper relative to the rotor, rotor runout as well the type of bearings, preload on them, type and quantity of grease and seal is how you get your front wheels to spin longer AND it's worth nothing on the time slip. But that's a different discussion for another day.

Also making sure the caliper is parallel to the disc not just centered.

We are very particular about this and what 1320 mentioned above. Has anyone run DR97 pads front and rear? Does anyone have a certain microswitch they use for high gear to shut off the two-step power? The shifter is Precision shifter forward pattern. Thanks.

I have mounted a switch with a lever on it so when you go to high gear it interrupts the power to the pressure switch. Bobby i have put a few on RJs car. He may even have one. I will do some research on it. The switch would have to normally closed type.

Amazon has them. You want one with 3 wire hook up.
