He started helping me in 1995 with what is now my bracket car. He tuned it remotely and through the mail. I was a a dumb 25 year old. But he guided me to get that car where I wanted it. Years later I moved to the Midwest. And I made a bunch of engine changes to that car. And was down in Tulsa. Getting it tuned on his dyno. He offered to take me to his house and show me his SS car. This was before it went to East Texas to be back halved. I was hooked. And knew SS was too much for me to build. So I built a stocker. I’m ashamed of myself. Because we let our friendship slip there at the end. Because of an idiot politician.
