Default racing shoes with wide width?

I ordered a new pair of Zamp ZR-30 racing shoes from Summit in size 14 this week. When they arrived, I could barely fit my big ol' foot in; the width was crazy narrow. I typically wear a size 13 or 14 and if "wide" width is available I try to buy them but it isn't always necessary depending on the shoe. I see where Zamp offers a wide width in their ZR-50 race shoe but does anyone know of another brand that runs wide? The ZR-50 is a little crazy with it's "youthful" design for me; just wanting something plain black from maybe RaceQuip or G-Force if they will be wide enough.

Thanks.

Default Re: racing shoes with wide width?

Just bought a new pair from Leaf Raceware. They are based here in my hometown of London, Ontario. I had to purchase a size larger than my normal shoe size because of the narrow dimensions. Not sure why the industry is doing this.
