Thanks again all for the assistance. I am going to look at a suncoast 27 roadster this Saturday. BBC that runs 8.6-8.7. Hopefully be bringing it home! I will keep you all posted....

I'm going to agree with Tom on this car. To me, it looks like a lot of car for the money, and I can understand/respect the budget you want to stay with. A ladder bar car wouldn't scare me in the slightest bit for a super gas car. They hit hard, and that's exactly what you want for that application. Heck, my super gas car with a four link is set up very similar to a ladder bar anyway.
