Default Tony Stewart

Tony, cuts a .032, .035 and a .006, to win TAD. I think he likes the straight line racing and he is good at it.

He's just taken the lead in national points for TAD. Very good for the sport and seeing him drive like that, he obviously has a passion for Drag Racing!! Even if you're not a Tony Stewart fan..... more like how can you not be a Tony Stewart fan now lol!

I got to meet Tony at Las Vegas last fall the day after he almost won his debut event. He truly can drive anything and be good at it. He was also helping out on the car and not some prima donna lounging in a motorhome. I think he's great for the sport.

Certainly not the first major crossover though. Doug Kalitta adapted well, and Richard Petty, Cotton Owens, David Pearson, Mario Andretti and more all drag raced while being roundy round stars. AJ Foyt and Jimmy Bryan were successful drag racers before Indy cars.

Great to see him doing well. Liked him as a NASCAR racer as well. He certainly wasn't one of those " cry babies". Loves to race. How can you fault that?
When talking about cross over racers don't forget Danny Ongais and there is also a funny car driver that runs on the dirt whenever given a chance.

Maybe he needs to kick Leah out of the seat? Just saying...or Hagen, that guy gives me to jeebies when he gets on air; looks more like a WWE guy but hey, NHRA loves to put on a show. "Lets get ready to RUMBLE!"

Nobody can fault his passion for racing, for that alone he gets my vote.
