It doesn't even look like Top Dragster is running at this event.
If they were,the quota would be lower.They don't pull in with open trailers and pick up trucks. |

Those classes were very popular in IHRA, so NHRA probably wanted to get a piece of the action.

I'd guess that some racers like to go fast at a reasonable cost. And, as TOSTO mentioned, the tech is easy, no fuel check, and tiny payout. No brainer for NHRA.

Bubski would like to remind You !! They're in the NHRA rule book as a class !! You may not like that but that's the way it is !! Those racers truly support the aftermarket with their vehicles and race all out to the finish line for the most part !! Unlike Stock and Super Stock !! No deals, NO 1000 foot runs , easier for the common folk to understand !! Cheers !!

The available options are different between the classes, but equally fun and interesting challenges. Let's face it; any class in drag racing is boring to watch 95% of the time, unless you have a particular interest in the outcome.
