Where to buy an awning
I am try to locate an awning to buy with no success. I am looking for a
16-20 foot, electric awning, with no side arms, that extends out about 120 inches. If it has fold out legs when extended, that's OK, would rather it didn't, but not a deal breaker. I had one on my previous Trailer that I bought privately, but I'm not having any luck replacing it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, J.R. Haddad (2zero4) Two-nine 7- six one 02. |

Re: Where to buy an awning
Have you tried Camping World? You would think they should have something like that.

Re: Where to buy an awning
Hi Phil. Yes, I've tried them, and they have striped cloth awnings with
arms that bolt on the trailer. I don't want to bolt anything on my trailer if possible. Thanks, J.R. |

Re: Where to buy an awning
I think what you are looking for is a "retractable or lateral arm and NOT a drop arm" style awning----you are going to need some type of mounting set up to mount your awning tube so you might have to fabricate something if you do not want to drill holes in the trailer siding--sizes and colors should not be much of a problem--FED 387

Re: Where to buy an awning
Google Lippert - the Solera XL awning. I have owned two. They extend out 10 feet and what ever width you want. Available electric or manual. I have always had the manual ones you just crank it out. The arms extend from the trailer so you can drive the car under them.

Re: Where to buy an awning
J.R., did you have success in locating an awning that was to your liking? I'm looking for one as well. What did you find?
