1967 Camaro Project
This is my first post so I hope I am in the correct section. I am in the middle of restoring my Camaro don’t know which class I will be running yet. The car is at the body shop, done in about two months, the motor is at the machine shop, done in about a month. This is what I have so far. All metal body with Hotchkis subframe connectors. The motor is a GM Bow tie with a 4.5 inch bore and I will be using a 4.25 Crank. We will be shooting for 750 HP and a 4th gear rpm of around 7100 across the line, I want to use a manual trans. I also want to purchased a 9 in rear with 35 spline axels from quick performance. Just wanted to know if anyone has transmission and rear end ratios and also if a TREMEC TKX 5 speed would work? Pics to follow. Thank you!

Re: 1967 Camaro Super Stock Project
67 Camaro, a little confused on what your asking? Your title says super stock project but you description is anything but a super stock car. Maybe a .90 class probably a super gas car with the 540 Big block. A stick car in that category is very difficult to compete with. Be sure to pick up a rule book and read throughly before getting in too deep.

You're not in the wrong section.. Any kind of race car builds are welcome here..Just don't call it a street car...Bracket racer? Okay

Re: 1967 Camaro Project
Thank you for the info. So, I updated the name of the post, I really am building this because I had this car since 1990 and decided I wanted to restore it and go racing as they are trying to build a new Drag-strip near me. So this is the project and I will look at the rules for bracket racing.
