The 300 lbs. @ .500" was a maybe. Some BBC had dual valve springs too. They also had valve springs with 327 lbs @ .500" lift, though the seat pressure was only 106 lbs.

If qualifying is on an 80 degree Friday and then it is 50 degrees during Saturday eliminations and everyone is going 1.00 second under does mineshaft rule still revert to the Friday qualifying sheet or do they look to see if the half the field goes .85 under in Saturday eliminations to determine that?

Qualifying only counts towards mineshaft.

If a race goes mineshaft no runs are entered in the Q or E data bases for that race. It’s like the race never happened for that category. -1.20 runs always count for adjustments on Tuesday.
That how I understand the rules.

What Larry said is how I understand It. As far as changing the rules how about leave it alone! Seems to me Every year about this time everyone with a odd ball stocker wants to skew the rules to advance their personal agenda. Enough FLAME ON
