Re: 79 Mustang project U/SA
Well i made my first, and only, pass in the car yesterday before the starter gave me fits. The car was lite at 2830 but it ran 14.29 at 90 mph. Im very pleased with it.Got to build a weight box and get that installed and sort out the starter. Felt great to finally get it to the track.

Re: 79 Mustang project U/SA
Still having starter issues. Put a new starter in and after a weekend of racing, it started hanging up again, Dummie me didnt put in a block plate in since I didnt have one for a 164 tooth flywheel. I installed one yesterday and it seams to have fixed the problem. lesson learned.
Best time so far on the Lite car is 13.98. Working on putting weight in it this week. Going to put in permanent weight to make -T- weight and a weight box to make -U-..I will for sure make one of the ASSSA races this year.
