It does not take much to get a 7.90-8.00 second car out of shape on 9 inch tires. The least little thing can cause it. Will a 10.5 tire or a 10.5 W tire fit the wheel tubs on the Copos, Mustangs, and Dodges without any modifications ?

What I heard thru the grapevine was that he doesn't carry a wallet, because he uses a backpack......

Really cool car hope it's fixable . Looks like he was out of the grove to the left just enough to up set it . Left rear tire lost air psi before or after it hit the wall ? Need to watch it in slo-mo to really see .

Just out of curiosity, do any of the good drivers out there have any recommendations on what to do when a car gets out of shape like Joe Welch's did? Hit the brakes, just spin the car around Joey Chitwood style, ....???? Might help other drivers to survive the situation! Just askin!

There is no easy answer, the best advice is to, try to remain calm, lift the go pedal and do not over react with the steering wheel.
