MSD Box
20 yr 6 series msd box finally fried. Looking for recommendations for replacement. Low hp SS 283. Need low side, high side limiters with possibly timing retard in high gear. Not interested in in all the high tech bell and whistles. Suggestions? Thanks.

Re: MSD Box
You can't really get built in timing retard in anything other than a Bells and Whistles box. I would not recommend the low end timing retard add on boxes from MSD as I have had several of them either fail or mess with the 7 digital box I replaced my fried 6 digital with. The 7AL2 or 3 will fire anything with high side/two step built in.

Re: MSD Box
I use the Digital 6 Plus, which has all the things you listed. Also, it's less than $400.
