Re: H-I-J '76 Nova re-fit.
It appears they have not changed much in price over the years. I think the key to longevity (for any battery really) is to use a maintenance charger when not in use or during the off season. I know they have improved the life of my small engine batteries considerably.

Re: H-I-J '76 Nova re-fit.
Dropped the radiator back off today for more welding, made some fuel lines, mounted some fuel lines and brake line, tried out the new flex hoses.

Re: H-I-J '76 Nova re-fit.
I think I have the radiator done, had some tubing thread inserts welded to the tank for a overflow tank mount. Started to get a plan for mounting the seat belts today. I've been mad about the coolant AN fittings since I got them, not one AN wrench will fit anywhere, so I bought different ones, wrenches fit and I like the color better too.

Who makes those -AN fittings so we will all know which ones to avoid?

Re: H-I-J '76 Nova re-fit.
Fragola, I bought them because they are made in the US. After recieving them I realized not one of my wrenches would fit, I have a hose and fitting store about 1 mile away that I usually get all of my hose and hose ends from, they didn't have a -20 hose end I wanted so I went with the Fragola, then I thought it was my wrench so I took a fitting to my guy down the street and his didn't fit either. He said the "B nut" or end you would tighten to the male fitting are all made to industry standard sizes, well I guess not... so he got me the black and silver and they fit perfect, he also made me my flexi brake hoses in 5 minutes while I waited. Very convenient.

Re: H-I-J '76 Nova re-fit.
I know this is a longshot but I have been waiting for a Grant quick release steering wheel hub (for a stock GM column) for 8 weeks and it looks like Grant won't have them to ship till October, we need something shallow and this would be perfect. If anyone knows where one of these are hiding I need it, otherwise I guess just a regular install kit till the end of the year.
