Replacement Intake for 273/4bbl
House of Darts...
Your question regarding the replacement Intake for your 273. Since it has a Chrysler PN and approved by NHRA for Stock. It is also good for Pure Stock. Approved. Dan |

If I was still working for IHRA and IHRA had not shot themselves in the head I would not allow it in Pure Stock. Stock "Maybe" ! But if a frog had wings it would not bump its butt.

They allow anything now. They just want bracket cars. No tech, no tech people that have any brains, Baker never was to smart about stock and super stocks. After this season IHRA will be lucky to exist at all.

The decision was allowed by NHRA.. But you have to look how that happened. NHRA never said NO to anything and the edges keep getting pushed. Todays Stockers were yesterdays SSers. Modified Stock is a fitting term for todays Stock. When Stock was Stock few cars were quick enough to run in SS. Now happens often. NHRA should create a Showroom Stock Class allowing Bolt-On's. So they can attract the new racer. I plan to attend one of the IHRA Bracket Races.. Most likely at MIR. D D |
