Question Re: 97 mustang 3.8

Just a question on this build idea. What about trying a helical gear diff. such as the Eaton Detroit Tru-Track for the Ford 7.5. This unit is suppose to be good for 300 h.p and ell. the spider gears , the weak link on the 7.5. Also will all C.4s bolt on to the 3.8 or is there a adaptor? Going back to the 7.5. i'm just thinking about saving as much weight as possible, as the car in R/SA would be about 3200 Lbs. Just thinking out loud. Jimmy
