Tool box.
Anybody know who can build me a large tool box to put on front of a open trailer? 83inches wide 3 ft deep and 44 inches tall. I am close to Memphis to.

Not sure but I imagine you can probably buy an enclosed trailer of about 26 -28 feet for about 50% more than what that box is going to cost. Bet that box is $2000 plus if you can find a guy to do it

Yea you might be right. Wish I knew where there was A 24 ft trailer for about $4000. If anybody does let me know.

Most fab shops can build you a sheet metal "box" to affix to the front of your trailer with the end doors on a hinge. Plan it so your tool box fits and maybe put it on sliders for easier access. Add a shelf ( above the height of your spare trans ) and your good to go.

Steve Broadbent at United Automotive Services in Lakeville MA, (formally Sid's Sheet Metal) used to build tool boxes that mounted on the front of open trailers.
