Hello everyone. It's been a week and a half since my last post. On valentines day, Bill did deliver to Jim the crank and pistons. I am still waiting for the block and lifters, head and main studs. Last Friday he said I will get them on Tuesday, again I am in wait mode. Bill make this happen. Maybe Wednesday morning I can post some good news. Thanks everyone.

No parts Tuesday, No parts Wednesday. Jim is going out of town on Thursday and will be back on Sunday. Now Bill says he'll get them to Jim on Monday. Any bets?

Hello everyone. Again no parts. Shop was closed. He knew last week it was closed on Mondays, but said he would still get them. Now he says today. I've been talking to a detective down there and Bill lies to him as well. Now the detective told Bill parts by Friday or a warrant will be issued. Have to wait and see what happens next.

I had a similar situation, some years ago, involving a deposit made on a car that didn't exist. After a few months of foolishness, the involvement of a police officer who wasn't amused helped grease the skids and get it resolved. Documentation, including names, dates, figures and facts, is your friend.
