ASRA Race #2 Notes and Make-Up
As stated previously Race 2 scheduled for Saturday June 24th at Lebanon Valley was rained out. The make-up date has been scheduled for Saturday July 8th and can extend to Sunday July 9th if needed back at LVD.
The BOD does recognize this makes for a lot of racing in consecutive weeks but the D1 schedule combined with track schedules doesn't leave a lot of options. Racers will be allowed to leave their trailers after the divisional for the following weekend. The picnic was held on Saturday evening as scheduled with good attendance and it was very enjoyable for all as the weather turned out great. Special thanks to Steve Rehm for running the grill like a pro and to all those that brought some side dishes. Also a big thanks to all that cleaned up afterwards and left the area spotless, the track was very appreciative of that. Lastly, the fuel program that is in conjunction with this double header will include the results from Race 3 on Sunday and then the results from the re-scheduled race 2 on July 8th. If there are any questions, please feel free to reach out!

Re: ASRA Race #2 Notes and Make-Up
Hi, I never ran an ASRA race, can I go to the July 8th race or was it a set entry and field from the rain out? Also do you need to join ASRA to enter and how much is the entry?
Thanks Rich Boyle |

Rich we'd love to have you join us ! The field was never set . Also anyone with a NHRA or IHRA stocker or superstocker is always welcome to participate . You'll race for the track payout and collect no ASRA points . Looking forward to seeing you and all racers July 8th . Still plenty of season left to those who'd like to join ASRA !!!!!

Re: ASRA Race #2 Notes and Make-Up
Hi Rich,
Looks like Marc answered the majority of your questions. As he said, the field is still open to anyone with an NHRA or IHRA legal stock/superstock car. We don't close a field until at least one pair has completed first round. You can find all our rules in our Bylaws on our website: http://asra-ne.com/bylaws.htm Our membership dues are $350 and you can join at any time but are only eligible for points and the ASRA portion of the payout after dues have been paid. Non-members are only eligible for the track portion of the payout. For example, if a race had 40 cars, the winner would get $400 if a non-member but would get an additional $600 if a member and another $400 on top of that if a member with the Banks Chevrolet sticker on the car (total of $1400 to win). The racer entry at the track gate is $60 I believe (sorry, I was just there and can't even remember the exact number. Hopefully someone else will correct me). Two time shots with qualifying based on reaction time and then eliminations completed all in the same day. We do run heads up for same classed cars and randomly check all cars for weight. Hope to see you there and feel free to ask additional questions.
