Default Metric 200 Pump Pressure

I'm getting around 200 psi at idle in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear and the pressure goes up to 250 off idle. Is that too high?

I had a converter give up on me last fall and I'm trying to figure if it was too much line pressure, or the 1000+ runs that were on the converter?

Converter pressure is about 1/2 of line pressure . If the converter failed because it ballooned, then usually you will see damage on the crank thrust bearing . If the converter has ballooning plates, and is furnace brazed, it should be able to handle over 150 psi @ 7000 rpm .
