Buckeye SS/Stk Series @Quaker City Aug 1st

This weekend, Saturday August 1st the Buckeye S/SS Drag Racing Series will be at Quaker City Motorsports Park, Salem, Ohio, for the third race of the year.
Gates will open at 10:00 am and time trials will start at Noon. Entry fee is the usual $100.
The UMTR group will also be there with the stick shift cars as well as our bunch. There will also be a gamblers race that pays, I believe, $1000.
Don't forget to be there for the Mid Ohio Paving Dial for Dollars that we do for our first time run. The closest to the dial on the first time trial will receive $100 cash. (racers going down the track before our first time trial will not be eligible) For the first elimination round Parsons & Myers Racing Engines awards the racer with the best first round winning package $100 as well.
Make plans, if you haven't yet, to come and duke it out with some of the best Stock/SuperStock and Nostalgia SuperStock racers in the area.
Also, in trying to reschedule the race we lost at the beginning of the season at Mt.Vernon, we have decided to do things this way. The last event of the season at National Trail we usually have a S/SS combo to go along with the Championship Runoff. We will again do this but we are going to run the S/SS combo first and take the winner and runner up from that race and seed them into the Championship runoff. There will then be ten racers seeded into the Runoff and the rest of the sixteen car field will be filled based off of points positions. To eliminate confusion, the last points race will be the Magnolia Dragway race on Labor Day Monday.
The Dave Layer Cup and the 2015 Season Champion will be awarded at the final event at National Trail.
