IHRA Pro-AM questions?
On these 2-event weekend races...typically if the event has minimal delays...when
would 1st round of Stock & Super Stock be called for the first race as well as the 2nd? Do they try and run 1st round of the 2nd race on Saturday evening if the car count is excessive? On low turnout events...can they get the 2nd race in on just Sunday? |

Re: IHRA Pro-AM questions?
Its a little hard to give a definite answer on this because of factors such as car count, 1/8 vs 1/4, weather, etc.
Generally, they give 2 time trials on Saturday starting at 9 am. Figure about 2-2.5 hrs per round of TT's. Figure TT's over between 2pm-3pm. First round usually starts pretty soon after that. Sunday, I think TT's start at 930. First round usually around noon. of course weather and any problems can severely change schedule. At Richmond on year, they got rained out on Sat. On Sun, gave a tt. Then first round sat race (ladder) , first round Sun race ( random pairings), 2nd rnd sat, 2nd rnd Sunday. I am sure other situations have dictated both races run Sat or start Sun race sat night as well.

Re: IHRA Pro-AM questions?
We have run two races in one day before, when necessary.
