Default Re: Chevy oil filter adapter

On a passenger car, I know that PCV design is critical. It was a few years ago one of the Japanese companies were having an issue with excessive oil consumption on low mileage newer vehicles. They blamed anything and everything on the problem but themselves. Turned out it was a poor PCV design. I also remember back in the bad old days the Ford 352 CI motors were really succeptable to sludge build up in the rocker cases. Those were the days Ford used a blowby tube that dumped crankcase garbage out on in the street.
