35 year collection NATIONAL DRAGSTER
My obsessive pack rat personality has led to an impass......I have about 1400 National Dragster mags that I just cant keep anymore. About 35 years worth... Yet I just dont have the heart to throw them out....Anyone need specific issues or all of them ? lol.........Neil Smedley 623-846-1375 oldsmedmobile@yahoo.com

Re: 35 year collection NATIONAL DRAGSTER
I am looking for a issue from the 1976-79 era that had Roy Hill's Arrow on the cover.May have been a Jodauga drawing or a actual photo of the car.The time frame would have been when ND was sent folded in half.If you have it,I would like to purchase it from you,as my Dad was mentioned in that issue.

Re: 35 year collection NATIONAL DRAGSTER
What's the matter Neil are we feeling sensitive today?
You once said you were proud to have Ed as a friend.I've learned to take his nastiness with a grain of salt.If you read my posts about him I'm just poking fun at him nothing vile.If you can't take a little ribbing then so be it.That's hat I like about us Div. 1 guys.we rip on each other all the time. All in good fun. Re: 35 year collection NATIONAL DRAGSTER
here is a suggestion neil
send them to the smithsonian so after NHRA kills stock and superstock there is some historic information about what is was like in the REAL DAYS... before electronics, rule change of the week and tech director overriding the rulebook became the death of the classes. jack mccarthy

Re: 35 year collection NATIONAL DRAGSTER
Neil,
Why dont you put the entire collection on Ebay? Gotta be worth something. Maybe some millionaire collector might go nuts so you can build another killer stocker? I love that 4.9 TA you built with the short deck Pontiac motor. If you need any help call me. Lynn 317-839-8378 lmc3470@aol.com Last edited by Lynn A McCarty; 10-15-2007 at 06:25 PM. |
