Yes I have, two years now (one day in 2005 and one day in 2006). Here's the results:
Tried their experimental 9x29 vs. my 9x29.5 M/T. (non-radial)
There were some issues on my end. I had a new clutch in and was adjusting it down as the day went on. So you know that wasn't optimum. But we kept switching back and forth as the day went on and the M/T's always hooked, even w/ 6 turns in the initial clutch base pressure settings. I was still doing wheelies with both sets (all clutch settings) but the 60' was always a little (.02) worse with the Toyo's. By the end of the day you could say the M/T's were quicker to the 330' by .02 and the Toyo's were faster on the ET overall by .02. The Toyo's were as good if not better. That's leaving the line at 7800 RPM on a 9" slick with a 390 cube SS engine.
I'll bet the results may vary but I would encourage you to try them out. Post your results please!
