Beadlocks!?
I am just cerious what some of the pro vs cons are if running a beadlock wheel on my roadster with a throttle stop? I wonder if it may help keep that 60ft a little more consistent track to track lane to lane? Anyone have any thoughts?

Heavy, expensive. I paid a zillion dollars to lose rotating weight, then put beadlocks on it and gained it all back. Not much upside to me using beadlocks. Looking forward to going back to regular wheels.

I prefer the beadlocks, longer tire life and minimal sidewall wrinkle helps tire longevity. I found my s/gas car to be more consistant w/ 60' times. The downside is the weight, if your concerned about it that's the only downside in my opinion

A Phoenix tires engineer doesn't recommend them for cars under 700hp, he recommends a good quality wheel. Make sure to measure the circumference of the wheel where it will meet the tire(the shoulder) sometime poor quality can have a variance in between both wheel causing slipping. I find a little sanding or cross hatching will cause better sealing and remember the best trick from the race tire industry for leaking drag slicks is to wash them with dish soap with a rag in the interior.Claude Ruel
