Default 1969 Yenko Camaro Clone - Super Stocker

This Camaro build began with a purchase of a nice Camaro body. The chassis was built by Mike Pustelny (MPR, the same chassis builder who designed, engineered and built the prototypes of the new Drag Pac Challenger, new Cobra Jet Mustang and the new COPO Camaro) from Almont, Michigan. This car has been certified by NHRA for ET’s to 8.50 in the Super Stock classification. The car was painted by Todd Frantz from Lambert Auto Body from Louisville, Kentucky, with base coat, clear coat LeMans Blue and black Yenko stripes, and all of the body work was done by JR Lambert.

Currently, the engine in the car is a mild big block Chevy bracket engine, with an ATI convertor and a Rossler Turbo 400.

This car has made two runs down the quarter mile (both runs were shut off at 900 feet), just to make sure everything worked, so in my opinion, it can be classified as a NEW race car. The car went a 9.90 at 122 MPH, coasting the last 420 feet in clean neutral, so it has a lot of potential.

I would be willing to sell as a roller; such as minus engine, less transmission & convertor, less headers and possibly remove the RacePac and its associated gauges, wiring harnesses and sensors. The final price would be negotiated depending on how the buyer would like to receive the car.

$79,500.00 as the car currently sits.

Also available, all new engine parts (listed below) to make an NHRA legal Super Stock B or B automatic engine, these parts are not included in the above price, but can be purchased separately or as a package deal with the car, price to be negotiated. The car is light enough to run SSA/A or SS/A if you would like to add a clutch pedal

GM 401 Aluminum Cylinder heads prepared by Carl Foltz (CFE) and custom made Manley Stainless hollow stem, bead lock valves for these heads. Heads have been clearanced for 1/2" push rods, and hardened metal inserts installed in heads to avoid wear on the head attachment. Victory Titanium Retainers & Locks. A mold has been made of the combustion chamber to profile the pistons.

Custom Made Jesel rockers and one piece bar system for the shaft mounted rockers that has a special mounting system to be used only on the above heads. The heads were modified at Jesel for this one piece bar attachment after CFE completed their work.

10 JE Pistons - 9 are still at Patterson Racing (machining to be completed). The one piston I have has been profiled - piston to valve is complete, cc's are close, lightening and top ring grooves and the remaining pistons will have to have the machine work completed. The ring dimensions are .027 top & second, and 3mm oil ring.

Special Custom ordered (NHRA approved) Manley Rods, made for the above pistons and sized for the custom Bullet Crankshaft
