Super Comp, Gas & Street @ Cecil County on August 10 & 11th

The Mid Atlantic Super Comp, Gas & Street Associations will kick back into action at Cecil County Dragway in Rising Sun, Maryland on August 10th & 11th.

Parking will open at 5pm on Friday Evening August 9th. There will be NO CHARGE for Friday Night unless you are planning on testing that night. If you are coming in on Friday night and staying for both Saturday (10th) & Sunday (11th) you will be charged for both days that night as they will do the same on Saturday Morning for those who are coming in to save on making 2 trips up to the gate and filling out 2 tech cards, etc. Gates will open at 8am on both Saturday the 10th and Sunday the 11th. The gate fee will be $35.00 ($70.00 paid to Lucky (Super Gas) or Rob Keister (Street & Comp). If you are only coming for Saturday then let them know you are only coming for 1 day.

Parking will be over on the spectator side of the track (AKA the Tower side) over in the field (Where most of us park for the Lucas Race). Please watch out for reserved spots that are painted on the asphalt as if you park there, you will be asked to move. Most of the reserved spots are right near the ticket booth and up against the fence that overlooks the track but, just keep a look out.

On both days we will be running with Junior Dragster & Brackets and will be at the end of the rotation. So it will go Juniors till conclusion, Brackets, Super Gas, Super Street, Super Comp. A few of you also have asked about leaving your trailers for the following weekends Lucas Oil event and due to no security during the week at the track that all trailers will need to be removed by Sunday Night, so you WILL NOT be allowed to leave your trailers at the track for the following weekend!

Also remember the tradition that is going on it's 20th year! The Uncle Buck Pig Roast will be held on Saturday Night! Please bring a dish if you would like too. This event is to honor Ronnie Harple and all the things he did for everybody!!

Also remember you do not need to be a member to run with us in Super Comp & Street, In Super Gas if you win or r/u you will have the dues taken out and you will automatically become a member. So come on down to Cecil and test the weekend before the Lucas Oil Series comes into town.

If you would like to become a member the dues are $70.00 for Super Comp & Street and $75.00 for Super Gas. The season is still very young (Yes I know it's August). Super Comp & Street still have 7 races left in their season and Super Gas has 6. All 3 series count the best 6 races towards your season ending total.

Aug 10th & 11th - Cecil County (Super Gas, Comp & Street)
Aug 24th & 25th - Maple Grove (Super Gas, Comp & Street)
Sept 15th - Numidia Dragway (Super Comp & Street) - In conclusion with the 90 Nationals
Sept 28th & 29th - Atco Dragway (Super Gas, Comp & Street)

**Schedule Update** - FYI Cecil County has changed the schedule for this Saturday, August 10th! Originally there was going to be brackets and junior dragsters on both Saturday & Sunday but, they have cancelled Saturday's Bracket & Junior program. So it will still be Super Gas, Comp & Street and now Test & Tune. Gates still open at 5pm Friday and 8am both Sat & Sunday. More or less as in previous years at Cecil if you get there early enough you may be able to make a quick tune-up run before we start qualifying. Hope to see a lot of racers make it out for the event and Pig Roast!
