Legendary Interior just showed up today.......looks fantastic! Crimson red 330 Super-stock pattern. New door seals, and black headliner......oh ya!
I would not lower or relocate the engine. Why reinvent the wheel? Too much would be effected, not to mention illegal for stock eliminator. Think of how the engine off set works with a driver on the left side regarding balance.

Cool Re: 1964 Dodge 330 "Race Hemi"

Hemi project update.....stainless headers from Performance Welding were delivered by my good friend Rick Paton {thank goodness for friends that share the passion of cars and racing!} Mark from Performance Welding is a artist, these headers a beautiful! I couldn't help myself I took them out of the box and installed them on my mook up block in the car. Only took about 20 minutes. All I need now is a empty BBM 727 and I can bolt it all together to fabricate some motor mounts. Still waiting for a spot to open up at the chassis shop to install the cage......soon I hope.

What does everyone use on the 727 trans for a polyurethane mount? It looks like the mount that came with my car has been modified to be solid. Now I know from the past experiences that solid = cracked trans case. I cant seem to find any photo's of how they originally were. So any wisdom will help.

Tom we use a stock one from the parts house, its rubber. The trans is still in one piece even after our big wheel stand last week. The trans mount did allow the trans to move enough for the pan to hit the track and bend the plug to 90 degrees but without any breakage to the case or tail shaft housing.

Be quick but don't hurry, we all want to see the latest work of art!
