Hi Guys,
I'd like to start building a SS car but not sure I have the right engine/car combination. I've got an 85 442 that I'd like to make into a GT car. The engine I have is an 04 GTO LS1. Can I use that as a combination in GT? I've raced oval track cars for years but have always wanted to do this as I've always been fascinated by what can be coaxed out of an engine in SS. Any recommendations or am I just not reading the rules right and can't do it in the first place? |

An 85 442 will work but it's going to be a little aerodynamicaly challenged

Ok I hadn't thought about the aero of the car. Didn't realize it mattered that much at the speed it would be going. Thanks for the reply. Would a 92 Z28 work better? It's a little heavier than the 442 but definitely more aerodynamic I'd think.
