Default Photos of Houston pits

Anyone have photos of the flooded pits we can use for an upcoming article?

It's okay, we received an abundance, as evidenced by the article.

I raced 4 X 4 mud trucks in the 80's, but I really didn't want go back to it.

Bobby runs the online drag racing magazine, CompetitionPlus.com. The article is at http://www.competitionplus.com/drag-...-cancellation-

There's been a few events over the years that dealt with massive amounts of rain and muddy pit conditions. I was at one one of them, and they were out there busting their butts with a roller in the pits, laying straw, helping racers get in and out, and hosing off people's tires before they entered the staging lanes. I will never forget a racer, at different track, years ago telling the story about how horrible the first track was and how he would never go back... while standing next to his rig in what would've been the same mud pit given the same weather . Guess what? When you get 19 inches of rain, it's going to be muddy. I went to the Keystone Nationals the year Hurricane Floyd blew through. It was a brutally tough situation. We got through it. Shreveport's been flooded, with rigs lined up on the track itself until the water receded. They got through it. We've had a "sun-out" at Norwalk for 8 hrs at Norwalk due to water seepage. We got through it.

I suppose we need to determine if we want to deal with some hassle and discomfort in order to race sometimes, or if you want to be sent home.
