by the way that ford 6 dist was the EARLY 6 cylinder engine design years were 1941-47--the later design engine1947-1957 uses a cap that looks like a conventional dist cap not the crab style like the one in the picture -those heads look like a 4 cylinder design used rocker pedastals if you look at the pics ya can see the mounting pads--doubt if it is a racing piece a u flow head might not be that efficient---the block a Mopar ??

It is one of those Competion eliminator motors that they take a v/8 and make it in to a 4.LOL

No it wasn't one of those, lol...and yes it "was" a 5.0L 302 Ford motor.

Notice the notches on the lower cylinders, I bet it was a 347 stroker motor that had just a little to much boost added before it self destructed...
Can anyone else guess what that other engine was with the outboard carbs on it was... |
