1962 Mopar 383/343 HP 'Stocker' - Page 2

This thread is a good one and thought I'd bring it back. I have a nice 62 Belvedere Post car that I'm gonna build into a drag car. At first I was just gonna go with a 440 and then considered a 413 Max Wedge clone but am now considering a 343horse 383 beings I have a 383, 915 heads which were allowed later on as replacements and most of all I have the 1827899 intake. This car will be bracket raced mostly but I'd like to see what I could get out of it building it to late 60s early 70s rules.
Were they allowing the "cheater cams" at that point? Any input you guys can offer is appreciated.
