The first picture in post 184, is the Jacobs 69 Camero, with the new owner Jay Bridgewater (on the right), that bought the Camero and it was re-named "RD Shaker"'. (He was from Omaha) The picture is about 1970 - 71 ??
Bridgewater could have had a partnership with Nick Whitaker, but not sure. I think Bridgewater lives in Colo. now. Don't recall the name of the other guy on the left. ............ Who is the owner of the maroon 56 Chevy in post 188...it looks like my old 56 after I sold it, but it used to be white and ran in Jr Stock. Mine was a 210, and had some of the same chrome trim removed and the tach on the dash. Last edited by sstk100; 01-23-2014 at 12:49 AM. |

I am not so sure about this.....If you are talking about Charlie Jacobs, 69 "Pro Stock" Camaro. You could be correct, but I don't think this is the same car. I had a chance to buy the pro stock roller in 1972. It had Super Tricks on the front then, plus a lot of fiberglass on the front end. $1,000 was the asking price. I was thinking that Daryl Arrowsmith might have bought it. Correction, Kind of....LOL.... I now realize that the RD Shaker you are talking about was the Super Stock car and not the Pro Stock car.
